Konsep Pendidikan Akhlak dalam Hadits Nabi dan Relevansinya terhadap Tantangan Moral Masyarakat Kontemporer

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the concept of moral education as presented in the Prophetic Hadiths and examine its relevance to contemporary moral challenges. Moral degradation, ethical relativism, and weakening character values have become serious issues in modern societies. This research employs a library research method by examining primary hadith collections, classical commentaries (sharh al-hadith), and contemporary academic literature on Islamic moral education. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach to identify core moral values emphasized by the Prophet Muhammad, such as honesty, responsibility, humility, patience, and social ethics. The findings reveal that the Hadiths provide a comprehensive framework for moral education that integrates spiritual awareness with social responsibility. Prophetic teachings emphasize character formation through exemplary behavior, continuous self-discipline, and moral accountability before God and society. The study concludes that moral education derived from Hadith remains highly relevant in addressing contemporary ethical crises and can serve as a foundational reference for character development programs in modern educational and social institutions
