Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Islam dalam Program Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Literasi Keagamaan di Lingkungan Pesantren

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic educational values in community service programs based on religious literacy within pesantren environments. The background of this research is grounded in the strategic role of pesantren as centers of Islamic education and community empowerment. This research employs a qualitative method using a case study approach. The research subjects include pesantren leaders, students (santri), and surrounding community members involved in the community service program. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and thematic conclusion drawing, the results indicate that Islamic educational values such as monotheism (tauhid), morality (akhlaq), Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), and social responsibility are systematically integrated into religious literacy programs through Qur’anic teaching, classical Islamic book studies, and community religious mentoring. The program not only enhances the community’s religious literacy skills but also strengthens religious awareness and social solidarity between pesantren and the local community. Moreover, santri gain valuable educational experiences by applying their religious knowledge in real-life contexts. This study concludes that the integration of Islamic education in pesantren-based community service programs is effective in fostering religious, knowledgeable, and morally grounded communities.
