Moderasi Beragama dalam Islam sebagai Pendekatan Sosial untuk Membangun Harmoni Masyarakat Majemuk

Ahyar Rasyidi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of religious moderation in Islam as a social approach to fostering harmony in pluralistic societies. Religious diversity often presents social challenges when not managed through inclusive perspectives. This research employs a library research method by reviewing Islamic theological texts, contemporary moderation discourse, and social harmony literature. The data were analyzed using a qualitative thematic approach. The findings demonstrate that Islamic moderation (wasathiyah) promotes balance, tolerance, and mutual respect, which are essential for social harmony. The study concludes that Islamic moderation provides a constructive framework for managing diversity within modern societies.
