Journal of Qur’anic Recitation and Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the study and practice of Qur’anic recitation (Tajweed), Qur’an reading sciences (Ilm al-Qira’ah), and related areas of Islamic knowledge. The journal provides a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to understanding, preserving, and teaching Qur’anic recitation.
The journal publishes original research articles, methodological studies, critical reviews, and case studies that examine the linguistic, phonetic, pedagogical, and interpretive aspects of Qur’an reading. Special emphasis is placed on scholarly works that analyze classical recitation methods, regional Qira’at variations, memorization techniques (Hifz), and the application of modern educational and technological tools in Qur’anic studies.
Journal of Qur’anic Recitation and Studies aims to promote rigorous academic discourse, foster global knowledge exchange, and support the preservation and proper transmission of Qur’anic recitation traditions.
